Money pouch
The money pouch holds your coins so they don't take up a space in your inventory. It sits next to the minimap and can hold up to 2,147,483,647 coins, the most you can have.
Coins you pick up, get as a drop, earn by pickpocketing or withdraw from the bank go straight into the pouch. Shops, Grand Exchange offers, trades and most NPCs that charge you take coins from the pouch, so you rarely need to carry them.
Keeping your coins safe
- Coins in the pouch are never lost when you die.
- The pouch is protected by your bank PIN, if you've set one.
Options
Left-click the pouch to show or hide the amount in it. Right-click it for:
- Withdraw: choose how many coins to take out into your inventory. There's no Withdraw-All, so type a number bigger than what you have, like 10m, and you'll get all of it.
- Examine: shows the amount in your pouch in the chat box.
- Price checker: opens the price checker.
When coins go in, the pouch glows gold and shows how many you gained. When they come out, it glows red and shows how many you spent.
Depositing coins
In the bank, the coins button next to the deposit buttons puts everything in your money pouch into the bank.
Where it doesn't work
Minigames with their own currency keep the pouch closed. In Dungeoneering, the rusty coins used in Daemonheim can't go in the pouch, and the pouch can't be opened there. Coins from treasure trail rewards go to your inventory, not the pouch.
